El delantero brasile\u00f1o Luan<\/strong>, de Gremio<\/strong> de Porto Alegre, campe\u00f3n de la Copa Libertadores<\/strong>, fue elegido como Rey de Am\u00e9rica por parte del diario El Pa\u00eds de Montevideo<\/strong> en su tradicional encuesta anual al sumar 182 votos, correspondiente al 49,46%.<\/p>\n

Luan, autor de 8 goles en la Libertadores, ocup\u00f3 el lugar del colombiano Miguel \u00c1ngel Borja,<\/strong> ganador en 2016; y fue seguido por el atacante peruano Paolo Guerrero<\/strong> de Flamengo<\/strong> y su compa\u00f1ero en Gremio, el volante Arthur<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

En la elecci\u00f3n del mejor t\u00e9cnico la distinci\u00f3n recay\u00f3 sobre el brasile\u00f1o Tite<\/strong>, escoltado por el argentino Ricardo Gareca<\/strong>, seleccionador peruano y Ariel Holan,<\/strong> entrenador de Independiente. Reinaldo Rueda,<\/strong> vencedor del a\u00f1o pasado, en esta oportunidad fue quinto.<\/p>\n

En el equipo ideal de Am\u00e9rica aparecen seis argentinos, cuatro brasile\u00f1os y un peruano; mientras que los colombianos Wilmar Barrios<\/strong> y Edwin Cardona<\/strong> figuraron en el once ideal escogido por la gente.<\/p>\n
