Previo al término de la primera parte apareció Michael Olise (41′) con un fierrazo desde el borde del área para sellar la paridad transitoria, pero en tiempo de reposición una mano en el área del Bayern fue sancionada como penalti y Ousmane Dembélé selló el 3-2 parcial. Primer tiempo de ensueño.

El equipo de Múnich reaccionó a partir de la pelota quieta. Al 65′, un centro de costado fue rozado en el área por Dayot Upamecano y selló el descuento; tres minutos después, Luis Díaz recibió por izquierda, dentro del área amagó con rematar para zafar de la marca de Marquinhos y definió al palo lejano del arquero. Aunque la juez de línea invalidó por fuera de lugar, desde el VAR convalidaron la anotación para el 5-4 definitivo.
Espectacular primer partido entre PSG y Bayern Múnich. La definición de esta semifinal se llevará a cabo el miércoles 6 de mayo en el Allianz Arena (2 de la tarde, hora colombiana).
